CANTALOUPES
Cantaloupes, is one of the common melon available in the market. When picking a cantaloupe, it should be orange in a color. If you look closely at the skin, you will notice a net like pattern. Beneath this raised surface the color should be orangeish. Look melon with the least amount of green. When comparing two cantaloupes of the same size, the heavier melon will be the juicer melon.

WATERMELON
Watermelon, the best way of picking a watermelon is by tapping it gently with your hand. It should Have a high pitched sound; and with the sound, the hand in which you are holding the melon should feel vibration that has traveled through the melon. This is a sweet melon.

CASABA MELON
Casaba melons, when buying this melon look for yellow orangish color. Slide your hand over the skin, it should be little waxy and there should be little give at both ends of this melon when you press with your thumb.

GALIA MELON
Galia melon, this is a new kind of melon. But not so new. This is cross between honeydew and a cantaloupe melon. It has light green meat inside like honeydew melon. This has it's own wonderful Taste like honeydew and the sweetness of a cantaloupe and it is juicy than honeydew and cantaloupe. When you buy this melon it should be orangish in color, and both its ends should have a little give to them when you press with your thumb. If you like melons try it.
