Congratulations Del,

I am learning about your fantastic festival a little late to enjoy the 2011 season, but from what I hear, this is an event NOT TO BE MISSED, EVER AGAIN!

I only hope that everyone who enjoys this gem will tell their friends and family to not walk, ...but run, to your event.
I know that I will be running there next year!

Thanks to Don Ross we learned of the CGF only this year. It was our first time out, we stayed at a local hotel for the weekend and enjoyed the festival. Met Mark B., from Montreal and learned a lot. Looking forward to next year already...Great job Del and Mr. Holmes Hooke. Last and not lease...your sound guy did a fantastic job keeping up.

Last weekend was off the hook!

Thank you to our volunteers! JP, Sebastien, Ron, Lauren, Katryn, Stephania, Nicole, Laura, Seth, John, Doreen, Dave, The South Frontenac Volunteer Fire Department, the Cogeco camera team, Kingston Sound Works, Erickson Music, Breedlove Guitars, Stonebridge Guitars, D-Tar, Hagstrom, and thank you Washburn Guitars! - Your donations helped us raise 1500$$ for Hospalito Atitlan in Guatemala!
Thanks to all the artists whose performances were rock solid and made our weekend one we can never forget..and to all of you who have been sticking with this or have hopped off the fence and took a chance on us for the first time...to all of you who flew, bussed or drove for hours..yours continues to be the stuff of legend!

My wife Pam deserves a huge thank you - eight years into this and still no team of lawyers! Thank you dear.

Wayne Coppin - your attention to the web site these past eight years and your quick responses to the often spontaneous workings of my mind ..often at 2:00 am etc. - thanks man. We shall hit a bottle of single malt soon :)

Attendance was up, acts were better than ever this year, you could use another food outlet, one that compliments the existing outlet, tasty burgers though! :!cool:

Just wanted to thank Del (and all the great volunteers at the Candian Guitar Festival) on behalf of KCAP.

We sent a few members out as a kind of quid pro quo after Del graciously lent us some tarps etc. for our Canda Day event. We most assuredly received the better of the deal.

What a fantastic weekend! Our folks provided a little relief for those on the gate but for the most part we basked in fantastic weather and chilled to some of the best music on the planet. Fantastic vibe. Bless your heart, Del!

Fantastic job on to the organizers! Last nights line up was way beyond our expectations.
We especially enjoyed Antoine and Tommy's performance - absolutely superb!!!
